Static. Dimensions should be always set to Static, it speeds up the modelling process.
Dynamic. Ensure dimensions are associative and do not use static dimensions, otherwise should something be edited, dimensions will not update accordingly.
Dimension Text Only to avoid Witness Lines to intersect with modelled elements.

What filter do you use to set up Fire Resistance Level (FRL) drawings?
There is no filter for this view settings. Use Worksheet to draw the coloured fills to cover the walls and then overlay GA draw in the Layout.
Use Graphic Override filter to change graphic appearance of building elements (FRL diagrams, sketch plans) globally in your drawings.
Model View Options, in the panel related to FRL diagrams.

How do you model a column/wall with a height that projects across multiple Storeys?
Set the Home Story to the base of an element and choose Floor Plan Display Option to Show on All Relevant Storeys.
Set the Wall/Column at base Story with height linked to Story above, then open 3D View and stretch the Wall/Column to desired height.
Set the Wall/Column at base Story with height linked to Story above, then copy and paste Wall/Column to all related Storeys.

What is the best method for using the Mark-up Tool?
Don’t use Mark-up Tool, but use 2D lines and text instead.
Add all Mark-ups to Archicad Layer.
Create a Markup Layer and keep all mark-ups at this Layer.

What will be visible when you set the Structure Display filter to Core Only?
Only Lift Cores if set properly.
Only elements set to Load-Bearing Structural Function.
Only Core Skin of Composite, Complex Profile or Basic Element Structure.

How do you draw Reflected Ceiling (RCP) plans?
Use the projection of your 3d model (View) in combination with linked Model View Options to globally override some display options of objects/elements.
Set all elements to Overhead All projection method.
Create a new Worksheet, copy & paste elements from Plan View into the Worksheet, than modify exploded elements to achieve desired look and add annotation.
8.
What is not practical about setting a View’s settings via ‘Get Current Window’s Settings’?
It will record your screen/monitor settings as part of the View settings.
It is actually very practical as you don’t loose time setting up default View Filters (Settings).
The filter in View Settings will be recorded as a Custom and you can later forget what settings were current at the time of saving the View.
